Brimbank City Council Structure Level 2 inspections, Calculation of replacement costs and useful life, December 2024 to March 2025

Bridge Inspection Engineers (BIE) successfully completed Level 2 Inspections of the Brimbank City Council, which encompassed a condition assessment of 82 structures, including bridges, Culverts, boardwalks and Viewing Platforms. This critical project marks a significant milestone in our commitment to maintaining and enhancing the safety and functionality of our infrastructure.

Throughout the inspection process, our team conducted thorough evaluations of each structure to determine their condition and performance. In addition to the structural condition assessments, we have also completed a detailed analysis of the replacement costs and estimated useful life for all 80 structures. This information will be invaluable for the Brimbank Council in planning future maintenance and investment strategies.
