Works Undertaken:

Sand Removal & Site Preparation

  • Removed substantial quantities of accumulated sand from beneath the deck structure.
  • Cleared trapped debris and moisture-retaining material.
  • Improved ventilation and drainage beneath the deck area.

Structural Support Upgrade

  • Installed additional structural support members (long-life hardwood) between existing beams to improve load distribution and overall deck stability.
  • Secured new support members using corrosion-resistant fixings suitable for coastal environments.

Verified structural integrity of the existing beam system following installation.
